Description:
Reasonably widespread
throughout south eastern Australia the beaked hakea is one of three
species occuring at Wirrapunga.. It is a shrub to 5m high.
Flowering:
Flowering occurs from
July through to November.
Threats:
Its only threat would
be by more vigorous woody weeds overgrowing it.
Management:
The management of the
the beaked hakea, other than removal of introduced weeds, is simply
ensuring that it is controlled through suitable events so as not to
threaten other species itself.
