Reasonably widespread throughout south eastern Australia the cowslip is a beautiful  canary yellow orchid that can sometimes be found covering large areas.

Flowering occurs from August through to October. 

Its only threat would be by more vigorous plants overgrowing it.

The management of the cowslip is simply making sure that it has the right habitat in which to thrive.
