Diuris orientis



Description:
A beautiful orchid that sometimes covers large areas. It has an underground tuber rather than a bulb and spreads by division of this tuber.


Flowering:
Flowers July to November


Threats:
As with most orchids its threats are threefold. Firstly loss of pollinating insect. Secondly through grazing and finally through being overgrown with introduced plants and woody weeds.


Management:
The correct cycle of events will have bulldogs thriving.
