Description:
Rhizome short, erect or forming a short trunk.
Flowering:
This fern has distinct fertile fronds or pinnae which are very firm. One can be seen in the centre of the photograph.
Threats:
Blechnum nudum is a declared rare fern in South Australia. I am not sure why because it is very easy to grow and flourishes along shady stream banks.
Management:
Control more vigorous species and give the spores an area where they can germinate.
