Description:
Forms small to quite extensive colonies in sandy soils expanding by vegetative division.

Flowering:
It is said that it flowers quite prolifically after bushfires. Only seems to flower at Wirrapunga after wood ash has been added in summer. In this case it is the first orchid to flower and opens the season in early April.

Threats:
Can be overgrown by more vigorous species.

Management:
Control more vigorous species.
