Description:
Procumbent shrub forming mats 30-90 cm across. Flowers within the plant. Pollinated by birds which are coaxed down from the safety of higher branches by the quality of the nectar produced and hence the common name "honeypots".

Flowering:
Flowering occurs August through to September.

Threats:
Looks after itself once established.

Management:
Difficult to establish.
