Description:
Probably the largest genus of flowering plants containing an estimated 1,500 species worldwide. About 40 species native to South Australia with another 5 introduced. including African Daisy which has given the whole family a bad name. See "African Daisy - The Biodiversity Tragedy"

Flowering:
Flowers October to January.

Threats:
Does well in positions which suit it.

Management:
Marketed as, "Provides a natural look to bushland gardens", Beaked Fireweed needs little management.
