Description:
A rare grass that is now hard to find in the Aldgate Valley. Grows in a clump with branched, wiry, robust culms. Its common name describes it well.

Flowering:
Flowers from September to January.

Threats:
Does well once established.

Management:
Easily grown from seed. Doesn't need any special management other than an occassional haircut.
